Know Before You Go

As a dramaturg at The Hangar Theatre, I developed and drafted pre-show emails designed to give patrons meaningful context before entering the theater.

Condensing the research, historical context from my full dramaturgical packets, each email paired contextual information with imagery, introducing patrons to the world before they arrived.

The goal was to create an accessible point of entry for audiences offering points of curiosity that could deepen their understanding, engagement, and enjoyment of the performance.
